Raspberries, a new tree, & hair to celebrate

The first fruits of our labor.
Some of them are black, and some are golden.

Morgan picked one out of the bowl for further investigation...

...but she didn't actually eat it.
It didn't make a good toy, either. Too flimsy.

Spouse is building us a cat tree.
No one seems to mind that it isn't finished yet.

There was mention elsewhere of big hair, and I felt it necessary to embarrass myself by posting pictures of some of my more celebratory 'dos. From left to right, you may observe Obsidian Kitten in 1986, 1988, and 1989.

No wonder I now demand a cut that requires no more than a towel-dry.

Morgan is very curious! (and such pretty stripes!) I would be curious too, golden raspberries? I don't think I've ever seen those.

The cat tree is a great idea too! Maybe Mr.J would make one if the girls hadn't already claimed the bookcases and desks as perches ;o)

Your curly hair really took the eighties 'rockstar' shaping well - but it definitely looked hard to upkeep! I only let my sister play with my hair once, in fifth grade, and it took forever to get it 'un'-ratted!

yeah, the reavers are the scariest bunch of evil doers ever created for a tv show and i swear they exist...so we are okay at least until we learn to travel in space....

Ohmigosh, now I have to go back and find some of my old pics. 80's hair was the worst/best ever. I too have opted for wash-n-wear hair. I get nervous around curling irons anymore!
Thanks for the wrist warmer suggestion for my llama, I'll have to give it a shot!
