I went out to check on the hens this morning, and found the White Queen in a funny position in her nesting box. Turns out she was on top of little Timmy, on top of the eggs. And they were on top of something else: a little golden chick!
I put Timmy back in her nesting box...and we wait some more.
The shearer is coming today to do the llamas (two weeks early, which is good, now that it's warming up) so I must fly. Baby chick pics to come!

How fun! Now the excitement begins, watching the mamas on duty. What a great event. :-)
